Earlier this year, we shared the start of Stronger Together, our collaboration with the finnish organisation ’SEY’ and their youth organisation ’Animal Youth Society’, to strengthen youth engagement for animals. Since then, we have been working closely to learn from each other, build ideas, and prepare for the next step in our shared journey.
Now we are launching our first joint campaign, focusing on an issue that is both urgent and important: Animal testing in pharmaceuticals.
Animal testing for pharmaceuticals is still taking place, and it is time we talk about it. Recent campaigns by several organisations have helped shed light on the reality behind these practices, where animals are still used in ways that cause significant suffering. This growing awareness is helping more people understand what is happening behind the scenes of medical research.
Through Stronger Together, young people have come together to engage with this issue. We have chosen to focus on animal testing in pharmaceuticals not because it is easy, but because it matters.
We believe young people have powerful voices. Together, we want to raise awareness, question outdated systems and highlight that modern science does not need to rely on animal suffering.
This is just the beginning. We are bringing together young people who care and who are ready to speak up and create change. Science Without Suffering. 💚
